About Distil

What Distil is, how it treats your data, and who is behind it.

What Distil does

Distil evaluates coaching sessions against the ICF Core Competencies and PCC Markers. You upload a session recording; Distil transcribes it, removes the names of the coach and the client, and prepares a first-pass evaluation with evidence from the session. Coaches use it to prepare for credentials, mentor coaches and assessors use it as a first reading, and coach training schools and coaching companies use it across their programmes.

Distil is a first-pass tool. It does not replace the judgement of a mentor coach or an ICF assessor, and it is not affiliated with or endorsed by the International Coaching Federation.

Your data

• The application, its database and its files run on our own servers in Germany (EU).
• Recordings are transcribed and anonymised on those servers. Evaluations use only the anonymised text.
• Raw recordings are deleted once processing succeeds (planned behaviour; see Consent and retention).
• Analytics are self-hosted and cookieless.
